Pete Gluhaich has been in the landscaping industry for over 20 years. His passion is creating beauty out of a empty or shabby yard and making it an extension of your home outdoors! After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1981, Pete farmed in his family's business until 1985. He then became a Pest Control Advisor for a nursery/park entity. 
This inspired him to start his own business. Therefore, in 1988 he earned his Landscape Construction license (C-27) and started Greenstreak in 1989, earning a B-1 General Contractors' license soon after. Since then, Greenstreak has grown to be one of the most recognized landscape companies in the area, receiving over 50 various regional, state and national awards.
Over the years, Pete has trained and created a crew and office staff that has the necessary craftsmanship and personable skills to satisfy our clients. Greenstreak Landscaping Inc. is an active member in the California Landscape Contractors Association. As a member of the Central Coast Chapter, Pete has served as President and also as head of the state wide educational committee.
